What do backpacks, responsibility, and Life Keys have in common?

Class 10
Backpacks, responsibility, and Life Keys represent key components of Pivot Class #10 teaching and learning this month.

  • What is in your backpack? What do you need to remove, so the weight is lighter to carry? What do you need to add as a resource for your journey? Sometimes the load is heavy. Sometimes the ‘resource’ is a person. (Top: Ivonne, left, Pivot’s Administrative Coordinator, and her former Pivot mentor, Marvina, TRP Instructor, enjoyed reconnecting at class this month.)
  • Maybe what you are carrying is the heavy weight of an experience over which you had no control. At the core of a “Totally Responsible Person” (TRP) is the understanding that, while you cannot control all that happens to you, you hold the power to choose how you respond. You hold the power to pause, reflect, and change your response when needed. (Bottom right: Marvina Hamilton, TRP Instructor)
  • How do you know when and in what way to respond? Use your “Life Keys” as guides: Passions, personality type, spiritual gifts, values, and vision bring hope, possibility, intention, and resources to making a pivot in a new direction. (Bottom left: Debbie Loftis, Life Keys Instructor)
